A place of his very own to let his imagination go wild. For 8 year old Charlie, that place and his wish were to have a treehouse in his backyard accessible by ramp from his home and his grandparents’ home with an Outer Space theme, equipped with a telescope, a retractable roof, and a galaxy painted floor.  

Providing a customized design, labor, and materials, the staff of Delaware Engineering engaged in the construction of a treehouse aimed to encourage Charlie’s imagination to come to life.  The benefits of the treehouse extended to increasing Charlie’s independence through an extensive series of ramps connecting the treehouse to his home and the home of his grandparents as well as the enduring friendships Delaware Engineering staff developed with Charlie and his extended family.
